First time Mummy Struck 4D
Though I m not a keen buyer of 4D, I decided to join in the fun that my parents have when they struck 4D over and over again, buying numbers related to Shalom's birth. For me, I decided to have a go and struck I bet. Though the amount is not a lot, but I still felt happy and thrilled at strucking 4D in the first time of my life!
Suntanning Baby!
As Shalom has slight jaundice, his peadatrician recommended that he suntanned everyday before 10 am. Look at this cute little baby suntanning in his Fisher Price Rocker! Daddy and Mummy pondered for a long while before deciding to get this Rocker over the others and we didnt regret our choice! Look at how comfy Shalom is!
Bathing Time!
These are some candid shots of Granny bathing Shalom. Mummy is still not adept at changing and bathing Baby Shalom and has a long way to go. Some pointers that Mummy learnt when bathing Shalom would be:
1) Get everything you need ready
2) Wipe his mouth with a wet cloth (i.e. brushing teeth)
3) Wipe face and behind the ears before showering
4) Add some milk bath to the water that Shalom is going to bath in
5) Use 1 - 2 drops of baby shampoo on Shalom's head (wash away the shampoo using a small mug)
6) Make sure hair is clean and slowly immerse Shalom into the water
7) Pat dry
8) Apply lotion to the joints (v impt) and Destini Creamy to the buttock area to prevent nappy rash
9) Apply Yu Yee oil after bath (smell nice!!!)
10) Wear clothes and wrap up like a little present!
First Day at Granny's House (12 April 2008)
It was pouring when we brought Shalom back from Mt Alvernia to my mum's place. When we were at my mum's place, Shalom kept looking at the surrounding, trying to familiarize himself with Granny's place.
